Do you have a green thumb and a love for the outdoors? NeatWeeds is looking for an enthusiastic Casual Junior Gardener to join our team! If you're studying horticulture or landscaping and want hands-on experience while you learn, we want to hear from you.

NeatWeeds is a small gardening business servicing the Inner West of Sydney around the areas of Balmain, Glebe, Leichhardt, Drummoyne and Sydney. Our customers are strata, residential homes and apartments, and we pride ourselves in delivering the best gardening service in Australia. We are all about growth — not just in the plants we service, but also with our clients and within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

● Plant Care: Help plant, water, weed, prune, and maintain a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs.

● Maintenance: Mow lawns, edge, trim hedges, and perform general garden upkeep to keep spaces looking their best.

● Landscaping Support: Assist with planting and mulching garden beds and general landscaping tasks.

● Irrigation: Carry out basic irrigation checks.

● Site Care: Help with site clean-up and equipment care.

● Team Support: Assist senior gardeners and landscapers with larger jobs.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Currently studying (or recently completed)



a Certificate II/III in Horticulture or Landscape Construction at TAFE. No prior work experience necessary — training provided on the job.

Skills:

○ Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather.

○ Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.

○ Good attitude and communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Attitude:

○ A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Nice to have:

○ A current driver's licence.
