Workfast is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to work at a busy galvanising and steel coating plant in Campbellfield, VIC.

Shift Hours

- Monday to Friday
- Hours scheduled anywhere between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm
- Overtime may be available
- Saturday and weekend work may be required
- Monday to Friday – full-time hours
- $64 per hour + OT + super

About the Role

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for a range of fabrication, welding, maintenance, and steel-related tasks within a busy industrial environment.

- Fabricating, assembling, and repairing steel structures and components
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required
- Cutting, grinding, drilling, and shaping steel using hand and power tools
- Performing general maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment
- Working with structural steel and fabricated components
- Conducting quality checks on completed work




- Assisting with maintenance and production activities across the site
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, secure, and efficient work area
- Working overtime and weekends when required

About You

- Previous experience working as a Boilermaker
- Relevant Boilermaking trade qualification
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with steel and industrial equipment
- Good understanding of safe work practices in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- Full working rights in Australia
