Mahinita Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at Multiaward Winning Overlander Indian Restaurant in Orange, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Indian dishes for our customers in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

- Preparing and cooking a diverse range of traditional Indian cuisine with experience in curries & Tandoori dishes.
- Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to optimise workflow and efficiency
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment
- Adhering to all food safety and health regulations
- Providing exceptional customer service and responding to special dietary requirements
- Assist in Menu development & implementation
- Ability to supervise, inspire & motivate other team members
- Involved with cost control through effective practices manage & Monitor financial budgets, food, wages & other expenses

What we're looking for

- Experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef
- Formal culinary training or qualification




- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a quick-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
- Passion for Indian cuisine and a desire to provide an exceptional dining experience
