SUFRA is a modern Lebanese-inspired café built around honest food, strong flavours, and quality execution. We’re looking for a passionate Chef / Experienced Cook to join our growing team and be part of something exciting from the ground up.
About the Role
This is a hands on kitchen role suited to someone who takes pride in consistency, speed, and flavour. You’ll be working with a menu that blends traditional Lebanese dishes with up-to-date café favourites.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute breakfast & lunch service to a high standard
- Maintain consistency, presentation, and portion control
- Assist with prep, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Contribute ideas and feedback as the menu evolves
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a chef or strong café cook
- Experience with Middle Eastern / Lebanese food is a big plus (but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Team oriented attitude with a positive mindset
- Reliability and pride in your work
