Busy Kids Child Care is a privately owned long day care service located in Broken Hill, NSW. We provide education and care for children aged six weeks to five years and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality early childhood education in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for two separate full-time, permanent positions:

- One Early Childhood Teacher (ECT).
- One Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III or Diploma qualified).

Position 1: Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)

The Early Childhood Teacher will provide pedagogical leadership and lead the design, implementation and evaluation of an approved play-based educational program consistent with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and the service philosophy.

Essential Requirements - Early Childhood Teacher

- An ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification at Bachelor degree level or higher, or a qualification assessed by ACECQA as equivalent.
- Current NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation at Provisional or Proficient Teacher level, or eligibility to obtain accreditation before commencement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, National Quality Standard (NQS), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Strong programming, assessment, documentation,



written communication and family-engagement skills.
- Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher in a long day care service is desirable.
- Experience mentoring educators and using digital programming and documentation platforms is desirable.

Position 2: Early Childhood Educator The Early Childhood Educator will provide care and supervision for children and work collaboratively with the Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader and other educators to implement the approved learning program and support children's learning, development, wellbeing and daily routines.

Essential Requirements - Early Childhood Educator

- A completed ACECQA-approved Certificate III, Diploma or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a qualification assessed by ACECQA as equivalent.
- Demonstrated understanding of the EYLF, NQF, NQS and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Ability to supervise and care for children safely, support daily routines and contribute effectively to educational programming and documentation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, organisation and time-management skills.




- Previous experience in a long day care service is desirable; a Diploma-level qualification and experience supporting room routines or program delivery will be highly regarded.
- Experience using digital programming and documentation platforms is desirable.

Common Requirements for Both Positions

- Current NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or the ability to obtain them before commencement.
- Current approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain it before commencement.

· Completed Gecko Child Protected Training – Courses 1-4
- Evidence of vaccinations required under the service's lawful immunisation policy, including current pertussis (whooping cough) vaccination; influenza vaccination is preferred.
- Commitment to child-safe professional practice, inclusion, respectful relationships and collaborative teamwork.
