About the Position:

WorkPac are seeking an Estimator for a permanent, Monday to Friday position. The role is suited to a hands-on civil construction professional, ideally with Leading Hand or supervisory experience. Estimating experience is not essential, with practical civil knowledge, site assessment skills and solid communication being key. The role involves site assessments, scoping and quoting for asphalt repairs, resurfacing, car parks, kerbing and minor concrete works across Perth, from Alkimos to Mandurah.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend site visits to inspect, measure and assess required works
- Develop accurate scopes of work and quotations
- Apply practical civil construction knowledge when assessing labour, materials and equipment requirements
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide practical solutions
- Discuss project requirements and budget considerations with clients




- Respond to customer and crew queries regarding quotations and scope
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Estimator and Operations team to ensure effective quoting and handover
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when representing the business with customers and stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience in a hands-on civil construction environment
- Experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or experienced civil construction worker
- Practical understanding of civil and/or asphalt works
- Current Construction Industry White Card
- Ability to assess site conditions and determine appropriate work requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and confidence dealing with customers and site personnel
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- Confidence using digital systems, with the ability to learn quoting and estimating software
- Understanding of construction safety requirements and compliance
