Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a School Engagement Officer to join Marketing and Student Recruitment, Engagement, Chancellery Division.
The School Engagement Officer is a key operational role within the Domestic Student Recruitment team, supporting the delivery of high-quality engagement experiences for schools, prospective students and their advisers. The position suits a highly organised and service-focused individual who enjoys coordinating logistics, solving practical problems, working with student ambassadors and a range of stakeholders, and supporting activities that help students explore their future study options at QUT.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a relevant degree; or the completion of an associate diploma and at least two (2) years subsequent relevant work experience.
- Current 'C' class (car) driver’s license and the physical ability to carry boxes of approximately 10kg weight.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating administrative and logistical activities, including managing multiple competing priorities, resources and schedules to achieve objectives within agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise initiative and identify, assess and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality customer service and building productive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a range of audiences, prepare routine and customised correspondence and provide accurate information and advice.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other corporate systems with the ability to maintain accurate records, schedules and administrative information.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
