Our client is seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join their Insurance team.

Role Description The Claims Officer is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility to WFH 2-3 days following an initial training period. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end insurance claims processes, including receiving, assessing, and processing claims in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing documentation, verifying claim information, conducting investigations where needed, and maintaining accurate records in relevant systems.

The Claims

Officer will communicate with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to provide timely updates, resolve queries, and ensure a positive claims experience. The role also involves monitoring claim trends, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of claims procedures and risk controls.

Qualifications

- Strong Claims Handling and Insurance Claims experience, including end-to-end processing and documentation review.




- Proficiency in Claims Management, with the ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and follow standardized procedures.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make sound, evidence-based decisions on claim outcomes.
- Clear and qualified Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
- Experience in finance, insurance, or related professional services environments; background in process improvement is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to fairness and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Comfort with using claims management systems and general office software; ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
- Relevant qualification in finance, business, insurance, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
