You will bring:

- Previous experience leading, supervising and developing a service delivery team
- A genuine interest in coaching, mentoring and building team capability
- Experience supporting clients who may be experiencing vulnerability or complex circumstances
- The ability to engage respectfully and confidently with both clients and employees

de-escalation and problem-solving skills
- The ability to balance client outcomes with operational, legislative and compliance responsibilities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- A supportive, compassionate and accountable leadership style
- Sound organisation, prioritisation and record-keeping skills
- Cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds
- A current Australian driver’s licence

Experience in community housing, social housing or tenancy services will be highly regarded. Candidates with relevant leadership experience in homelessness, disability, mental health, child and family services or other human services settings are also encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of residential tenancy legislation and social housing practice would be advantageous. A Certificate IV in Social Housing or Property Services is highly regarded but not essential.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join an established community housing organisation and make a practical difference to both the team you lead and the tenants it supports.
