About the Role

Our Psychology Department has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified clinical psychologist to join our friendly team. The clinician in this busy and diverse role sees community patients and inpatients referred from across the Hospital to provide evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, case formulation and psychological therapy. Based conveniently at Concord Hospital within the Sydney Local Health District, the psychologist will provide high quality consumer-focused, evidence-based treatment to patients and their carers, contribute to Departmental projects, and supervise post-graduate psychologists where appropriate.

Ideal Candidate

- Current registration with AHPRA and must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge, skill and clinical experience in the provision of clinical psychology interventions, demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Insight Oriented Psychotherapy. Demonstrated skills in working with families.
