About Us The Martu Justice Reinvestment Tribal Council (MJRTC) Strategy is a community-defined framework designed to shift the justice system’s focus from punitive measures to holistic, culturally grounded approaches that strengthen community wellbeing and self-determination. This strategy is about reallocating resources and empowering the community to drive the process, from identifying critical issues to selecting culturally appropriate interventions. Martu leaders across six communities will spearhead this collaborative effort to close the gap in the Pilbara region with community-led justice reinvestment solutions.
The not-for-profit organisation, Aboriginal Males Healing Centre (AMHC), will serve as the auspicing organisation for MJRTC until its incorporation.
