The Role

- Job Type: ABN/Contractor
- Schedule: You are in charge of your schedule. Bookings can be made on weekdays or weekends per your agreement with the client.
- Location: We allocate clients within a 30 minute travel distance.
- Consistent Referrals: partner with us to build a local client base.

Case Load You require expertise in the following areas essential for aged care contexts:

- Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose conditions such as plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot complications, and biomechanical issues.
- Treatment Plans:



Develop and implement personalized treatment programs, including orthotics, footwear recommendations, and gait retraining.
- Preventative Care: Provide routine foot care, including nail cutting, corn removal, and callus management.
- High-Risk Foot Management: Manage complex cases such as diabetic or vascular-related foot conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, GPs, and other healthcare providers to deliver holistic care.
- Education & Advice: Offer patients and their caregivers advice on maintaining foot health to prevent future complications.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed clinical notes and reports for case managers and referring doctors.

Professional Registrations: To excel in this role, you should have (or be willing to obtain):

- Australian business number
- Independent contractor work rights
- Qualified indemnity and public liability insurance of $10M each
- Driver's licence and access to vehicle (recommended)
- AHPRA registration
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate
- National police check certificate

Language Skills (Optional): Proficiency in a second language including but not limited to Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Hindi, and Vietnamese is desired but not mandatory.
