We are looking for an experienced and reliable handyman capable of completing a wide variety of residential property maintenance and repair work. This role would suit an experienced all-rounder who takes pride in their workmanship, can problem-solve on site and is comfortable working independently.
Key responsibilities
- Hanging, adjusting and repairing doors
- Installing door hardware, handles and locks
- Sealing and re-sealing showers and wet areas
- Painting and touch-up work
- Patching walls and minor plaster repairs
- Decking repairs and replacement
- Fencing and gate repairs
- Minor carpentry work
- Minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Installing shelves, rails, fixtures and fittings
About you
- Has solid handyman, building or property maintenance experience
- Is competent across a range of different trades
- Produces neat, qualified-quality work
- Can assess a job and work out the best way to repair it
- Is reliable and turns up when they say they will
- Communicates well with customers
- Can work unsupervised
- Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport
