We are seeking a social, vibrant Support Worker for our feminist Female client in Wooloowin.
Whether it’s heading out to a community event, singing her heart out at choir or getting competitive in a game of Boccia, our Client lives life colourfully and actively.
She values open and honest communication, creating a space where everyone feels respected, celebrated, and genuinely heard.
Shifts that are available:
Mon, Tues, Weds 6:30am-12:00pm
Saturday 6:30-12:00pm
Sunday 2:00pm-8:00pm
Potential for more shifts - 6:30am-12:00pm or 2:00pm-8:00pm
The role includes personal care, assistance with housework, meal prep and community access. Experience with hoists/manual handling and stoma care would be awesome, but not essential.
Important to note: Due to insurance requirements, we’re looking for someone aged 25+ with a valid licence, as the Client has a new, fully accessible vehicle waiting to hit the road.
You’ll be supported every step of the way with a comprehensive care plan and our brilliant Support Specialist team.

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
To be successful you must:
- Have experience in providing bowel therapy to clients or a willingness to learn
- Experienced in Manual Handling
- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Experience in bowel care/therapy (required)
