We are currently working exclusively a highly regarded Melbourne-based property developer and builder, to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their in-house construction team.

An award-winning organisation that takes a fully integrated approach to property development, with architecture, interior design, construction, project management, sales, marketing, operations and asset management all managed in-house.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to take ownership of a multi-residential apartment development in South-East Melbourne, working closely with an experienced construction and senior leadership team.

Salary: Up to $160,000 Super The Prospect

You will play a key role in managing the project from pre-construction and tendering through to construction delivery and final handover.

The role will be hands-on and varied, providing exposure across estimating, procurement, contracts administration, cost management, subcontractor coordination and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the project through the full construction lifecycle
- Assist with estimating, tender preparation and subcontractor procurement
- Manage subcontractor engagement, performance and delivery
- Oversee contracts administration and project documentation
- Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance
- Manage construction programs and project milestones
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and key project stakeholders




- Provide hands-on support to the site team and ensure project requirements are met
- Maintain strong standards across quality, compliance, safety and documentation
- Assist with project reporting and general project administration
- Drive the successful delivery of the project through to completion and handover

About You

We are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager with approximately 3–5 years' experience in a Project Management capacity.

Ideally, you will have a background delivering multi-residential or apartment developments, with experience on projects involving:

- Basement construction
- Approximately 5–7 storeys
- Complex subcontractor packages
- Full project lifecycle delivery
- Tendering and procurement
- Contracts administration
- Cost and financial management

Requirements

- 3–5 years' experience as a Project Manager
- Demonstrated experience delivering multi-residential/apartment projects
- Relevant Diploma of Building & Construction, Construction Management or Project Management degree
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, contracts and project delivery
- Strong commercial and cost management capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
- Experience with CostX, Microsoft Project, Sage Intacct, BuildPass or Bluebeam will be highly regarded.
