About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from planning through to successful completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing resources, contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Duties

- Plan, coordinate and manage construction and infrastructure projects from commencement to completion.
- Develop project execution plans, construction schedules, methodologies and resource allocation strategies.
- Lead and coordinate engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and project teams.
- Monitor project scope, budgets, costs, schedules, quality and overall performance.
- Manage procurement activities, including tender documentation, contractor evaluation and contract awards.
- Administer construction contracts, variations, claims and contractor performance.
- Monitor construction progress through site inspections, milestone reviews and programme assessments.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective measures.
- Coordinate with government authorities, utility agencies, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, WHS and environmental requirements.
- Review contractor progress claims, completed works and technical submissions.
- Prepare project progress reports, financial updates and recommendations for senior management.




- What makes you ideal for the role?
- A minimum of 3-5 years Project Management experience, preferably with a Design and Construct Company
- Ideally workspace fit-out experience
- Working knowledge of IT Systems such as Word, Excel, MS Project and ideally Viewpoint an ERP management tool (e.g. Procore/ACC/Viewpoint)
- Experience working closely with the Sales team (bid approach, attending the pitch)
- You will hold a formal qualification such as Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction (Building), Bachelor of Construction Management (or equivalent) (ideal)
