28 Group

Melbourne

At 28 Group, we help people move more, live healthier and make positive changes by providing personalised at home health & fitness solutions. Our flagship brand 28 by Sam Wood is a market-leading provider of innovative digital fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness solutions. 28 by Sam Wood has a uniquely loyal customer base – underpinned by a strong brand and a history of providing life-changing experiences for its customers.

The team at 28 by Sam Wood is collaborative, energetic, and talented. With encouraging growth in the fitness and nutrition category forecast and growth in new verticals everyone in the business is focused on providing an excellent customer experience in 2026 and beyond.

Whilst 28 Group is focussed on growing its portfolio of brands it is also part of the broader DBG Health business which presents many opportunities for business growth and benefits to the team.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Content Coordinator to join the Product team at 28 Group and help shape the content experience across our subscription apps.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll own the planning, coordination and delivery of the content our members experience in-app — from workout programs and recipes to educational content and challenges.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be at the centre of our content operation, working across Product, trainers, Marketing, Social, Community and Production to keep content moving from idea through to launch.

Your role will include

- Planning content calendars, programs and release schedules
- Coordinating content launches across app, marketing and social
- Uploading, configuring and maintaining content within our backend systems
- Managing metadata and ensuring content is accurate, organised and customer-friendly
- Coordinating with trainers and contributors to keep content on schedule
- Monitoring engagement and app performance to understand what our members love — and what we should do next

- Turning customer behaviour and performance data into actionable content recommendations
- Supporting studio filming days and helping ensure assets, schedules and talent are organised
- Continuously looking for ways to make our content workflows better and more efficient

Who we’re looking for

You’re equal parts organiser, coordinator, creative thinker and analytical problem-solver.

You’re someone who enjoys bringing order to complex workflows, notices the details others miss and takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what happens next.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience in content coordination, digital content, social media or production
- Confidence learning and working across digital systems and backend platforms
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, dashboards and performance data
- An ability to turn data and customer insights into practical recommendations
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- The ability to juggle competing priorities and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment
- An interest in fitness, wellness and/or digital media is highly desirable.
- Experience with CMS platforms, studio or production environments, basic social video creation, analytics, subscription apps or the fitness industry is a bonus — but you don’t need to tick every box.

What success looks like

Our members get engaging, well-organised content at the right time. Launches happen seamlessly across the app, social and marketing.

Studio days run smoothly. Content decisions are increasingly informed by what our customers are telling us through their behaviour and feedback.

And, importantly, the wider team knows they can trust you to take ownership, create structure and keep things moving.

If you love the intersection of content, technology, customer behaviour and fitness, we’d love to hear from you.
