Your Role

As our new Content Coordinator, your role will be to seek out, research and craft compelling stories.

Building relationships across diverse networks, and operating with a passion and enthusiasm to share the perspectives and experiences of others, you will be the connection point between amazing stories of faith and hope, and the audiences that need to hear them.

Operating with a vision to encourage, challenge and inspire through the content we produce, you will have an opportunity to use your gifts in researching, storytelling and guiding others to create media that bears witness to the power of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit at work — and which draws our audiences deeper into explorations of the Christian faith.

Day-To-Day, You Will Be...

- Generating ideas, topics and perspectives for new episodes of our radio program and regular podcast to explore.
- Seeking out the stories that bring those ideas and topics to life, with a focus on creating content that brings Gospel-centred messages into the lives and hearts of non-Christian audiences.
- Exploring different social, cultural and theological perspectives to ensure our content faithfully communicates the hope, joy and grace of the Gospel.
- Researching, preparing interview questions and conducting pre-interviews that help to guide, craft and shape the stories we share for maximum impact and engagement.
- Hosting, or co-hosting, episodes of our radio program and podcast — using your voice, personality and heart to bring our stories to life.
- Working as part of a small but passionate team, who bring their amazing gifts and talents together each day, to drive our mission of sharing the hope and joy of Jesus into the lives of others!

Ideally, you will have...

- An enthusiastic, positive and can-do attitude, paired with a heart for people.
- Experience in communications, journalism or media production.
- Experience in planning, scheduling and organising people, resources and timelines, including an ability to work within strict deadlines, schedules and timeframes.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability and willingness to present or conduct interviews.
- Ability to remain objective, grounded, and to act as an advocate for the intended audience during interviews and recordings.
- Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively and constructively as part of a team.
- A growth and continual improvement mindset, with a willingness to learn and to develop new skills.
- An understanding of, and commitment to, Lutheran beliefs and practices.
- A commitment to the Christian faith, with a special interest in Gospel outreach through media.
