About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join a leading Construction business in Mascot. This role supports the construction portfolio and involves managing collections, progress claims, and contract documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a quick-paced and growing team, starting off as a 4 month contract with the view to potentially estend or transition to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee collections activities for construction-related projects
- Administer and track progress claims, retentions, and bank guarantees
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to manage new business onboarding and ensure documentation compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping of contracts and claims
- Support the transition to a more centralised construction collections process
- Utilise Excel for reporting and reconciliation tasks
- Assist with general contract administration as required

Key Requirements





- Experience in a high volume credit/collections role
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Exposure to SAP preferred but not essential
- Exposure to construction is ideal but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
