? We’re Hiring: Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and security-conscious Cyber Security Analyst to support our organization’s cybersecurity operations, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response activities. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cybersecurity, information technology, threat intelligence, and protecting digital systems and data.
? Key Responsibilities
• Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for potential threats and suspicious activities.
• Analyze security alerts, logs, and events to identify potential security incidents.
• Assist with cybersecurity incident investigation, response, and remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support vulnerability management activities.
• Perform security monitoring and threat analysis using SIEM and other security tools.
• Research emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security trends.
• Assist with security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance activities.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and policies.
• Investigate phishing attempts, malware alerts, unauthorized access, and other security events.
• Prepare security reports, incident documentation, and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and other teams to improve overall security posture.
✅ Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles,
network security, and information security concepts.
• Familiarity with common security threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and defensive techniques.
• Experience with or knowledge of SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanning, or security monitoring tools is preferred.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify unusual or suspicious activities.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to security incidents when required.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and emerging security technologies.
