Role Description The Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) will support Janet Jane Media by gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data related to audience engagement, campaign performance, and content effectiveness. Day-to-day tasks include preparing reports and dashboards, assisting with data modeling, and providing insights that help improve marketing strategies and creative output. This is a part-time role with a hybrid work arrangement based in Sydney, NSW, allowing for a mix of in-studio collaboration and work from home.

The analyst will collaborate with creative and marketing team members to translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations. The role also involves maintaining data accuracy, documenting methodologies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of analytics processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics abilities to interpret trends and support decision-making.




- Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical concepts to evaluate performance metrics.
- Candidates should possess Data Modeling skills, including organizing data structures and supporting the creation of basic reports and dashboards.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable way.
- Comfort with spreadsheet tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau or similar) is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, curiosity, and a willingness to learn new tools and methodologies are important for success in this role.
- Relevant coursework or a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Interest in media, marketing, or creative industries and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hybrid environment are advantageous.
