Delivery Manager - Digital & Customer Technology

Sydney | Hybrid | Contract

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join a high-profile Digital & Technology function, supporting a team responsible for disruption communications technology and customer recovery products.

This is an opportunity to work on technology that directly impacts the customer experience when things don't go to plan. You will be responsible for projects focused on helping customers receive timely, accurate information and enabling the business to respond quickly and effectively to disruption.

You'll play a key role in ensuring technology initiatives are prioritised, planned and delivered effectively across internal teams and external delivery partners.

The role

As Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day delivery rhythm across a team of Business Analysts and Quality Analysts, ensuring work moves from intake through to successful delivery.

You'll be responsible for

- Running Agile ceremonies and managing sprint delivery across a team of BAs and QAs
- Owning delivery timelines, priorities, dependencies and key milestones
- Managing delivery across both internal build teams and external vendors
- Owning and improving the team's intake process, ensuring new requests are appropriately assessed, prioritised and planned
- Working closely with Product, Technology, Business and operational stakeholders
- Identifying and removing delivery blockers and managing risks and dependencies
- Providing clear visibility of delivery progress, priorities and issues to key stakeholders
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and to the required quality
- Supporting continuous improvement across Agile delivery practices and team ways of working





About you We're looking for a proven Delivery Manager who can operate confidently in a complex, customer-focused technology environment.

You'll ideally bring

- Experience working within an airline or aviation environment would be highly beneficial
- Experience within Digital, Technology or Product functions
- A strong track record delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives
- Proven experience managing Agile delivery, including sprint planning, ceremonies, prioritisation and delivery tracking
- Experience working across both internal technology teams and external vendors
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively from delivery teams through to senior business stakeholders
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with a solid focus on delivery outcomes
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate a fast-moving environment
- A pragmatic, collaborative approach and the confidence to challenge when required
