Dental Assistant/Receptionist for our Specialist Orthodontic Practice

Working closely with our in house Specialist Orthodontist across our two clinics, you will performing a range of reception duties and orthodontic care tasks with your focus on patient care.

While based at our Toukley Clinic, you may be required to work at our Wahroonga clinic (1 day a month when trained).

The permanent part time position from 24-32 hours week, creating work/life balance.

Your role:

- Providing support to a Specialist Orthodontist and team
- Providing superior patient care and attention to detail
- Clinical room set up and cleaning

- Reception duties

You will have the following attributes:

- Experience in orthodontics is ideal (Training will be provided for the right candidate)
- Ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- Superior communication around oral health and within a busy team environment
- Ability to multitask and work well in a busy environment




- Use Dolphin Software (training available to the right candidate)
- Be understanding and effectively communicate with patients in a friendly and empathetic manner

To be considered you will have the following attributes:

- Ability to follow instructions and show initiative
- Experience with orthodontics advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, friendly personality to work within this specialised, team orientated environment
- Excellent clinical skills are a must, as well as a commitment to providing excellent oral health

- Professional and well spoken
- Knowledge of MS Word/Excel and Dolphin Software an advantage (Training will be provided for the right candidate)
- Orthodontic experience would be highly regarded, however General Dental or Medical experience will be valuable

The successful applicant will be able to show initiative, reliability, be willing to learn and multi-task in a rapid paced environment. The clinics opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm.

Travel to Wahroonga on occasion 1 hour north of Sydney.

Pay: $30,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
