Role Details The Digital Programs Outreach Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering digital literacy programs that improve digital confidence and inclusion across South Australia, particularly in regional and remote communities. The role supports the delivery of the Being Digital program through outreach, training, resource development, stakeholder engagement and project coordination. Working closely with library staff, volunteers, councils and community partners, the position helps identify local needs, build capability, and ensure digital learning opportunities are accessible, inclusive and responsive to community priorities. The role also contributes to program evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement to support the ongoing success and growth of digital literacy initiatives.

Special Conditions

- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
- This role requires regular regional travel, including a minimum of two weeks of travel per month, and may involve overnight stays and extended periods of working away from the primary office location.




- Candidates must be willing to undertake regular regional travel; travel is planned in advance and supported by the organisation.
