- $133,348 – $146,945 per annum, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

The House and Procedure Unit
The House and Procedure business unit supports the day-to-day operations of the sittings of the Legislative Assembly; provides advice on parliamentary law, procedure and practice to Members of the Legislative Assembly and other stakeholders; and provides support to Members of the Legislative Assembly,
their staff and visitors to Parliament House.
About the position
The Manager, House and Procedure is a dynamic role which involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the Legislative Assembly while it is sitting, researching parliamentary law and procedure, and providing written and verbal advice to stakeholders. The successful candidate will be required to research and produce documentation such as briefing notes on parliamentary procedure, and review and provide feedback on the work of other team members. The successful candidate will also work on strategic projects and deliver training to Members and their staff, and assist Directors in the operational management of the unit.
As the successful candidate, you will have high level research, critical analysis and problem-solving skills. You will have strong organisational skills and be able to manage projects, as well as the ability to draft complex reports and other documents. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, given the diverse range of internal and external customers and stakeholders.
