Ample Care Support Services is currently looking for reliable, experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide ongoing support to a client living with quadriplegia.

We are looking for staff who are confident providing high-level personal care and physical assistance and who understand the importance of dignity, choice and person-centred support.

Key responsibilities may include

- Personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Manual handling, transfers and repositioning
- Assistance with mobility and wheelchair use
- Pressure care and skin integrity support
- Medication assistance, where required
- Meal preparation and assistance with daily living activities
- Community access and appointments
- Completing progress notes and following the client’s care/support plans

Requirements

- Previous experience supporting clients with quadriplegia,



spinal cord injury or high physical support needs is highly preferred
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check, where applicable
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable and professional
- Positive communication and documentation skills
- Must be comfortable with manual handling and personal care To apply:
