You'll work from engineering drawings and production specifications to fabricate aluminium frames, cabinets, brackets and components that become part of finished products. This is a hands-on role where the quality of your work is visible in the finished product.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate aluminium components and assemblies for digital signage and display products, working with materials including aluminium sheet, extrusion, angle and other fabricated components
- Perform high-quality aluminium welding, primarily MIG, with a focus on clean, accurate and consistent finished work
- Interpret drawings, dimensions and specifications to accurately manufacture components and assemblies
- Work from individual components through to completed fabricated assemblies, including frames, cabinets, brackets, mounting systems and custom signage components
- Take ownership of the quality of your work and ensure fabricated components meet the required dimensions, finish and specifications before moving through production
- Measure, mark out and check your own work
- Use hand tools and fabrication equipment safely and accurately
- Work efficiently while understanding the importance of production efficiency, deadlines and keeping work moving through the factory

About you





- Experience in aluminium fabrication and welding
- Strong MIG welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of measurements, tolerances and fabrication techniques
- Experience working with aluminium sheet and extrusion
- Robust attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a production team
- Good problem-solving skills
