About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to join our Frankston, VIC office. This role suits someone with electrical experience (a trade or practical background is preferred) who is looking to build or continue a career in electrical drafting and design.

You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and senior draftspersons to produce high‑quality electrical drawings and documentation across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and revise electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts
- Assist with single-line diagrams, cable schedules, termination drawings, and panel layouts
- Translate site knowledge and as-built information into accurate drawings
- Support engineers with design documentation and revisions




- Maintain drawing registers and document control
- Liaise with site personnel to clarify installation and design details
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project requirements

About You

Essential

- Electrical experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills

Desirable

- Trade or practical background in electrical installations (e.g. trade-qualified Electrician)
- Strong understanding of electrical installations, switchboards, cabling, and site practices
- Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar drafting software
- Exposure to as-built documentation or design support
- Basic understanding of Australian electrical standards
- Certificate, Diploma, or current study in Electrical Engineering or Drafting
