Role Description This is a full time, on-site Electrician role based in Loganholme, QLD. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical components and systems associated with overhead, gantry, and jib cranes and related lifting equipment.

Day-to-day tasks include performing fault-finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring equipment operates safely and in compliance with relevant standards. The role includes reading and interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with mechanical and operations teams, and completing accurate service records and reports. The Electrician will also support customers on-site, respond to breakdowns,



and follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles relevant to industrial and crane systems.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and commissioning of equipment.
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical components, with a focus on preventative servicing.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and performance issues.
- Understanding of electrical engineering concepts as they apply to cranes, lifting equipment, and control systems.
- Valid electrical trade qualification and current electrician license in QLD (or eligibility to obtain).
- Knowledge of Australian electrical standards, WHS regulations, and safe work practices in industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and focus on safety and quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver’s license and willingness to attend client sites as required.
- Previous experience with cranes, lifting equipment, or heavy industrial machinery is an advantage.
