Principal Advisor – Industrial & Employee Relations A senior specialist role for an experienced IR/ER professional.

We’re looking for a confident and practical Principal Advisor – Industrial & Employee Relations to provide expert advice across complex employee matters, industrial relations, workplace investigations, unions, consultation and employment legislation.

You’ll be a trusted advisor to leaders, helping build capability through coaching and practical guidance, while providing specialist support across the HR team.

What you’ll bring

- Significant IR/ER experience
- Robust experience managing complex casework and investigations
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and industrial instruments
- Experience working with unions, consultation and dispute resolution
- Strong coaching, communication and stakeholder skills
- Confidence navigating risk and providing practical, commercially sound advice





This is a specialist IR/ER role — not a generalist HR position — and is fully office-based, with self-managed visits to Association hubs.
