About the Role
You will be responsible for operating EDC's fleet of Franna's and Slew Crane along with MC truck driving operations to assist in site preparations for crane lifts and moves.

The role will involve a combination of shutdown work, projects and general small jobs throughout Weipa township.

Full-time role | Accommodation provided or rental assistance

Monday - Friday position with option for weekend work

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate 160T Tadano Slew crane, 40t Franna, 22t Franna

- MC truck driving for plant mobilisation and job set ups.

- Conduct pre-starts, inspections, and defect reporting

- Completing job cards and service reports accurately

- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Minimum Qualifications





- Must have CO crane ticket with minimum 2 years of experience

- HC/MC truck Licence

- Previous experience in mining, construction, civil, or heavy industry (preferred)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Competent operator with relevant tickets/licences (advantageous)

- Current QLD Driver’s Licence

- Strong work ethic with a safety-focused mindset

- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test

Additional Tickets & Desirable Qualifications

- Machinery tickets (e.g. Bobcat, Excavator, etc.)

- HC/MC Licence

- Current High Risk Work Licence
