Role Description
The Facilities Lead – Southern Porrfolio is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Victoria Australia, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day management, maintenance, and safety of Aruma’s facilities across Victoria and part of NSW, ensuring they are fit‑for‑purpose, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards. Key tasks include coordinating repairs and construction projects, managing service providers and contractors, monitoring budgets and schedules, and maintaining accurate facility records and documentation.
The Facilities Lead will collaborate with internal teams to support operational needs, provide training and guidance on facility‑related processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Regular site visits, stakeholder engagement, and proactive problem‑solving are core aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Facility Management (FM), including maintenance coordination and contractor oversight.
- Experience in Training related to facility procedures, safety protocols, and staff support.
- Solid Administration capabilities, including documentation, scheduling, and record‑keeping.
- Background or familiarity with Construction, refurbishment, or property works management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting, communication, and data tracking.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Relevant qualifications in facilities management, construction, property, or a related discipline are desirable.
- Experience in disability services, community services, or a values-driven not‑for‑profit environment is advantageous.
