Join Liverpool Hospital's Perioperative Unit and play a vital role in supporting protected, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical journey. As a Wardsperson, you'll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team that helps ensure patients are prepared, supported and transferred safely for their procedures.
- Safely transfer patients between the Perioperative Unit and Operating Theatres, contributing to a seamless surgical experience.
- Support nursing and clinical teams with patient preparation, positioning and manual handling using appropriate equipment and safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean, organised and patient-focused environment by preparing beds, trolleys and clinical areas to the highest standards.
- Build positive relationships with patients, families and members of the perioperative team through professional and compassionate communication.
- Contribute to service efficiency and patient safety by assisting with urgent situations and supporting the day-to-day flow of the unit.
