An established civil contractor is looking for experienced Engineering Surveyors and Senior Surveyors to take charge of surveying across a growing portfolio of projects in the Rockhampton region.

Description

This is a key position within the regional operation, responsible for planning and coordinating surveying activities throughout construction. You'll have the opportunity to work across wide-ranging projects while being trusted to manage the surveying function on the ground.

Key responsibilities include

- Manage the surveying requirements across a range of local civil projects
- Complete site measurements, calculations and quality checks
- Manage survey data and maintain accurate project records
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and project managers throughout project delivery
- Plan upcoming survey requirements around construction programs
- Operate modern survey equipment and software
- Contribute to the delivery of new projects as the regional pipeline grows

Profile

- Proven surveying experience across civil construction
- Strong capability across set-out, measurements, calculations and survey data
- Experience with Trimble, GPS, AutoCAD and 12D
- Able to work effectively with engineers, supervisors and project teams
- Solid technical judgement and a practical approach to problem solving
