The Role The Environment Advisor supports the effective implementation of environmental and radiation management requirements across site operations. The role incorporates the functions of the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and works closely with operational teams to maintain effective compliance systems, meet regulatory and reporting obligations, and support sound environmental and radiation management practices.

Reporting directly to the Environmental Manager, this is a hands-on, site-based role combining regular field activities with environmental and radiation compliance, data management and reporting responsibilities. As a key member of the Environment team, the Environment Advisor undertakes field monitoring, inspections and other site-based activities, while maintaining accurate records and compliance systems, providing practical advice to operational teams,



and contributing to risk management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Support compliance with and implementation of environmental approvals, including the EPEPR, PEPR, EPA licence and Retention Lease conditions

- Prepare and coordinate statutory environmental reporting

- Monitor and maintain environmental compliance systems, registers and tracking tools and ensure timely completion of all required actions

- Manage environmental data systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility

- Effectively manage drillhole rehabilitation records and associated compliance reporting

- Effectively maintain rehabilitation trial data, seed inventories, and rehabilitation databases

- Habitat mapping and fauna monitoring

- Implement the Radiation Management Plan and ensure site compliance

- Conduct radiation monitoring, inspections, surveys and sampling and ensure appropriate use and maintenance of radiation monitoring equipment

- Maintain radiation related registers and records

- Support radiation safety and compliance activities, including reviews and continuous improvement actions

- Provide environmental and radiation advice to operations and project teams

- Identify any compliance risks and implement mitigation measures





- Contribute to and support environment decision making

- Undertake additional duties as reasonably directed to support organisational and operational requirements.

Person Requirements

Essential Criteria

- Current drivers licence

- Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) certification, or the ability and willingness to obtain it

- Previous experience in an environmental role within the mining, resources or energy sector will be highly regarded

- Experience in environmental monitoring, and compliance

- Robust data management, analysis, and reporting skills

- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage complex compliance requirements

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable
- Tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related discipline

- Working knowledge of environmental approvals and compliance frameworks
