North Lakes State College is seeking an innovative and committed Deputy Principal - Special Education to lead and strengthen inclusive education across Prep-Year 12. This is a key College leadership position with a strong focus on building an inclusive culture where every student is known, valued and supported to achieve their potential. The successful applicant will provide strategic leadership across our primary and secondary settings, ensuring students with diverse learning needs are supported through high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning practices.

We are seeking an educational leader who can build the capability of staff, strengthen inclusive practices and work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, students and families to improve outcomes for students with disability and diverse learning needs.

This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

North Lakes State College opened its doors in 2002 and enables students to commence in Prep and continue through to Year 12 across our two campuses.

As a unique educational College, we offer many different areas of expertise including an industry standard commercial kitchen for hospitality studies, state of the art VI experience, as well as sharing our exceptional sporting facilities with the public.

The College has established a well-planned and sequenced curriculum program that is supported by a large selection of extra-curricular activities which assist students to explore their talents, interests and abilities.

- A demonstrated capacity to lead change and foster a positive, inclusive culture across a large and complex school environment.
