AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with major growth plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and continue to advance our operations as we build a sustainable and successful mining business.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Excavator Operator to join our mining team at the Warrawoona Gold Project.

Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production excavators to support open pit mining activities. This role is critical in achieving production targets while maintaining high safety standards, equipment performance and operational excellence. We are specifically looking for operators with Komatsu PC1250 experience, strong technical capability and exposure to gold mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate production excavators in an open pit mining environment
- Load haul trucks in accordance with mine plans and production requirements
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine operational checks on equipment
- Monitor equipment performance and report defects or maintenance requirements promptly
- Maintain high levels of productivity whilst ensuring safe operating practices
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, dispatch, maintenance teams and fellow operators
- Interpret dig plans and operate in accordance with mine designs and operational procedures
- Maintain accurate production and operational records as required
- Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Promote a positive safety culture through hazard identification,



risk management and compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience operating Komatsu PC1250 excavators in an open pit mining environment
- Previous experience within gold mining operations
- High level of technical capability with a strong understanding of excavation techniques, productivity and equipment performance
- Proven ability to load haul trucks safely and efficiently while achieving production targets
- Sound understanding of mining safety systems and operational procedures
- Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team-focused environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to obtain a Valid National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

- Experience operating additional mining equipment
- Previous experience in remote FIFO mining operations
- HR Driver's Licence
- Working at Heights certification
- Confined Space certification
- First Aid qualification
