B&L; Civil, is a privately-owned Civil Engineering contractor based in Brisbane. We are a reputable contractor in Queensland's Civil Construction Industry.

We are experts in all aspects of residential civil construction including: subdivisions, stormwater, sewer, water reticulation, road construction and re-rehabilitation, bulk earthworks, landscaping and environmental remediation works.

The role is a hands on position. The successful applicant will be required to have extensive knowledge and experience in residential subdivision works with stormwater, sewer and water reticulation.

As the Drainage/Pipe Foreman you will have total control and knowledge of the onsite infrastructure pipeworks and drainage for the project.You willbe responsible for ensuring the project is completed on or under time whilst ensuring a protected site is maintained and a quality product is constructed. The role is a hands on position.

Ideally, you will have at leastfive years' work history inthe pipe construction industry.

Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety requirements as well as Environmental requirements.

Direction, monitoring leadership to the pipe crew as well as the team of leading hands, plant operators, labourers and sub-contractors on site.

Control of survey requirements

Monitor compliance with safety andenvironmental requirements

Maintain compliance with construction program

Report all non-conformances and assist recommendations for remedial work

Maintain daily record of site activities

Ensure clients quality expectations are being met / exceeded (in accordance with spec)

You will need:

A CertificateIII inPipelaying would be highly desirable

Prior experience in sewer, water reticulation and stormwater drainage is essential

Have a thorough knowledge of the drawings, specifications and quality requirements for all site related activities

Extensive experience in a similar position within the construction industry

Proven ability to constantly deliver high quality construction projects within budget and program constraint.

Have experience and working knowledge of installing concrete structures

Relevant Tickets, White Card and a Drivers Licence.
