CPS Plumbing Group is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team based in Ultimo, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in the plumbing industry with a reputable and established organisation. As a full-time apprentice, you will work alongside experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience across residential and commercial plumbing projects whilst completing your formal apprenticeship qualifications. This role is essential to developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople and represents the foundation of your career in the plumbing industry.

What you'll be doing

Assisting qualified plumbers on a variety of residential and commercial plumbing installations and maintenance work

Learning to install, repair and maintain water supply systems, drainage systems, and heating systems

Conducting routine maintenance tasks including leak detection, pipe repairs and fixture replacements

Assisting with plumbing inspections and troubleshooting common plumbing issues

Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision

Following workplace health and safety protocols and maintaining compliance with industry standards

Attending and completing your apprenticeship training through a registered training provider

Contributing to a skilled and collaborative team environment

Keeping detailed records of work completed and maintaining accurate job documentation

What we're looking for

Year 10 or equivalent education (or willingness to undertake further training to bridge any gaps)





A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the plumbing trade

Strong physical fitness and ability to work in various environments and conditions

Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople

Current driver's licence (desirable)

A commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with workplace regulations

A positive attitude and enthusiasm for developing your skills in the plumbing industry
