We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse to our Cultural Healing Program, Mental Health and Specialised Services

The Cultural Healing Program (CHP) provides mental health intervention and support to persons who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander who are affected by mental illness and would benefit from a culturally appropriate multidisciplinary service due to the intensive or complex nature of care required. Support is also offered to non-indigenous family members. The CHP model of care incorporates an awareness of social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and mental wellbeing of the individual and the community in which they reside.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Provide advanced mental health nursing knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of comprehensive assessment, care and treatment for people identified with mental health diagnoses and provide care management services including therapeutic engagement, education, clinical assessment, risk assessment, and delivery of evidence based therapeutic interventions. - This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Health Secure Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Values.

Remuneration value up to $81 160 p.a, comprising salary rates $57.76 - $61.85 p.h., (Permanent Part-time, 44 hours p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) NRG6(1). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
