Are you an experienced transport industry qualified with a background in accounts, administration and customer service? Do you understand freight billing, rates, charges and the fast-paced nature of the logistics sector?
An established and growing transport company based in Kew is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis and assist during a busy period. This is a hands-on role supporting the finance and operations teams with credits, investigations and general administration.
About the Role
In this varied position, you will be responsible for:
- Managing credit requests and investigations
- Following up outstanding information and resolving billing discrepancies
- Supporting freight invoicing and account administration
- Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders regarding account queries
- Assisting with general finance and administration duties
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within the transport, freight, logistics or supply chain industry
- A strong understanding of freight billing, customer charges and rate structures
- Experience in accounts administration, accounts receivable/payable or credit investigations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
- The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
