Role Overview

Location: Lanyon Marketplace, Shop 4/4 Sidney Nolan St, Conder ACT 2906

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: 70,000 to 80,000 plus superWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our bakery team. This hands-on role involves preparing and baking a variety of bread and bakery products according to established recipes while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Mixing, kneading and preparing dough for breads and bakery products

- Baking a range of products including bread, rolls and specialty items
- Monitoring proofing and baking processes to ensure consistent quality
- Operating commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently




- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas
- Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient control
- Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets

Requirements

• Relevant baking qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum two years full-time experience as a Baker
- Strong understanding of dough preparation and baking techniques
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
- Good knowledge of workplace health, safety and food handling standards
