Located approximately 40km north of Clermont, this family-owned mixed farming enterprise operates across 10,000 acres of dryland cropping country alongside a cattle backgrounding and feedlotting operation. The business continues to invest in its farming systems, machinery and people, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking to advance their career. The cropping program currently includes mung beans and sorghum, supported by a modern machinery fleet featuring John Deere equipment, a 24m planter, Trimble GPS guidance systems, a self-propelled John Deere 4730 sprayer, SwarmFarm technology and supporting earthmoving equipment including loaders and graders.

Clermont is a well-serviced Central Queensland community offering schools, sporting facilities, shops and essential services, while still delivering the relaxed lifestyle and strong agricultural community that attracts many people to the region. Working closely with the owners and existing team of four,



this role would suit an experienced farm hand who is confident across cropping operations and looking to step into greater responsibility. The successful applicant will initially join as an experienced operator before progressing towards a 2IC position overseeing both cattle and cropping activities eventually.

An immediate start is available.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

- Operate and maintain broadacre cropping machinery across planting, spraying and harvest operations.

- Assist with day-to-day cattle management including backgrounding and feedlot activities.

- Support end-to-end crop production programs and seasonal planning activities.

- Contribute to machinery maintenance, repairs and general property operations.

Selection Criteria:

- Proven experience in broadacre cropping operations and machinery operations.

- Leadership experience or a genuine desire to progress into a management/2IC role.

- Sound mechanical aptitude with the ability to undertake routine servicing and repairs.

- Cattle handling experience preferred and a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.

Additional Particulars:

- Well-maintained, fully furnished single accommodation provided (suitable for a single person or couple). No family accommodation available.

- Full-time permanent prospect with competitive remuneration package negotiated according to experience.
