About the role

We're looking for an Experiential Producer who understands the realities of delivering physical experiences at scale. You're calm and practical under pressure, genuinely curious about how things are designed, made and delivered, and thrive on-site as much as behind the scenes. This is a 6-month contract position, with strong potential for extension based on performance and business requirements.

You'll take ownership of live events, activations and major event projects from end to end, calling on your experience running installation teams, construction crews and contractors on complex event sites. A strong understanding of construction, fabrication, materials, finishing and temporary structures is essential, as is a solid grasp of production logistics, freight, access, and bump-in/bump-out.

You're comfortable managing multiple suppliers, contractors and internal teams simultaneously, and you bring sharp budget and commercial management skills alongside excellent stakeholder communication. You can read and interpret drawings, plans, schedules and technical documentation with ease,



and when things inevitably change on site, you stay solutions-focused and get on with it.

This role is ideal for a hands-on producer who loves being where the build happens.

Your responsibilities

As an Experiential Producer at Boom Studios, you'll play a key role in delivering complex physical experiences from concept through to on-site execution. Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering complex live events, activations and major event projects end-to-end
- Leading and managing installation teams, construction crews and contractors on-site
- Overseeing construction, fabrication and build processes to ensure quality finishing
- Managing production logistics, including freight, access, and bump-in/bump-out schedules
- Coordinating multiple suppliers, contractors and internal teams simultaneously
- Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, schedules and technical documentation
- Managing budgets and commercial outcomes across projects
- Acting as the calm, practical problem-solver on-site when plans need to adapt.

Your skills and experience

We're looking for someone who combines hands-on build knowledge with sharp organisational and leadership skills. Ideally, you'll bring:

- 5+ years' experience in experiential production, event builds, major events or a related field
- Proven experience delivering complex live events, activations or major event projects end-to-end
- Significant on-site delivery experience – essential




- Experience running installation teams, construction crews and contractors on complex event sites – essential
- A strong understanding of construction, fabrication, materials, finishing, temporary structures and event build processes
- A strong understanding of production logistics, including freight, access, bump-in/bump-out and site constraints
- Experience managing multiple suppliers, contractors and internal teams simultaneously
- Strong budget and commercial management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, schedules and technical documentation
- A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach when things inevitably change on site
- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in how things are designed, made and delivered

Experience working across major events, sporting events, festivals, large-scale activations or complex temporary builds is essential.
