Sydney Water is undertaking a 10-year infrastructure program to renew, expand & build infrastructure to support a more sustainable, resilient, and productive water network for Sydney’s growing population. About the role:

As an Interface Lead, you will support the successful delivery of major projects by coordinating interfaces with government agencies, utility providers, and infrastructure asset owners. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you'll help manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure third-party requirements are addressed to keep projects on track and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage relationships with government agencies, utilities, and infrastructure stakeholders impacted by project delivery.
- Coordinate and maintain interface agreements, ensuring governance requirements, approvals, and stakeholder obligations are effectively managed.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve interface risks and issues to protect project outcomes and Sydney Water's interests.
- Facilitate collaboration across project teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of complex technical and commercial matters.
- Drive successful project outcomes by monitoring interface requirements, maintaining strong stakeholder engagement, and sharing lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project management, infrastructure delivery, engineering, commercial management, or a related field.




- Demonstrated experience managing third-party interfaces and stakeholder relationships on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial, contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements within a government or major project environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, navigate complex issues, and maintain accurate project documentation.
