Role Description The Finance & Accounting Executive is a part-time, hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable processing, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and preparation of basic financial reports. The individual will assist with budgeting and forecasting tasks, support month-end and year-end closing processes, and help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.

The role includes reviewing financial data for accuracy, supporting cash flow monitoring, and providing clear financial information to management. Collaboration with operations and project teams to track costs, support invoicing, and respond to finance-related inquiries is also expected.

Qualifications

- Solid Accounting skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and familiarity with standard accounting practices and software.
- Solid Finance knowledge,



with experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Ability to prepare, interpret, and review Financial Statements with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify variances, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and accounting systems; experience in construction or restoration services is an advantage.
- Capacity to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
