We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Finance Analyst to join our Adelaide Finance team at Clovelly Park.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career finance professional who wants more than a traditional accounting role. You'll gain hands-on exposure across financial reporting, compliance, inventory management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, audit support, and business operations, providing a solid foundation for a successful finance career.
Working closely with the Finance Manager ANZ, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial performance of the business while developing valuable technical and commercial skills. As you grow in the role, you'll have the opportunity to take on broader responsibilities and expand your contribution across the finance function.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing accounts receivable collections and customer account reconciliations
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing proof of delivery documentation where required
- Supporting accounts payable activities, supplier reconciliations and payment processing
- Preparing monthly account reconciliations and assisting with month-end reporting
- Assisting with BAS, FBT and other statutory compliance requirements
- Supporting annual audit and tax preparation activities
- Managing inventory ledger reporting, including excess and obsolete stock analysis
- Processing warranty claims and stock return credits
- Assisting with annual stocktakes and inventory controls
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies across the finance function
About You
You are analytical, detail-oriented and eager to build a career in finance. You enjoy solving problems, working with data and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- SAP experience
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- 1-2 years' experience in an accounting or finance role (or strong relevant graduate experience)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning
- Mandarin language skills would be highly regarded due to interactions with regional stakeholders and suppliers.
- Progress towards CPA, CA or CIMA qualifications will be highly regarded
