About the role

We are seeking a fulltime ‘Finance Manager’

The AMS Finance Manager role is to control accounts procedures with a reporting line to the Executive Accounts Manager.

The role is responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and budgeting, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. This role plays a key part in strategic decision-making and improving financial performance.

Responsibilities

- Undertake all necessary accounts procedures in accordance with company requirements.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
- Manage cash flow, and capital requirements.




- Ensure compliance with external stakeholders including ATO, QBCC, QLeave,
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
- Monitor internal controls and implement improvements to safeguard assets.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Director and Shareholders

Requirements for the role
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
- SimPRO software experience is highly desirable but not mandatory as training will be provided.
- Pleasant and patient phone manner.
- Reliable and team oriented.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and handle pressure in a rapid-paced environment.
- Current drivers’ licence and own reliable transport a must.
