You'll be the person on the ground keeping projects moving safely, on schedule, and to the standard we're known for. You'll manage our internal carpentry team and coordinate subcontractors, and you'll be a key point of contact between site and our directors.

Key responsibilities

- Running the site day-to-day, organised, prepared, and ready to lead from the first minute of the day
- Managing our carpentry team and supervising subcontractors and trades on site
- Ordering and coordinating materials so the right things are on site at the right time
- Ensuring every sub-contractor and supplier is signed in and compliant with our WHS/SWMS requirements before they set foot on site
- Running fortnightly toolbox meetings and identifying opportunities to improve how we work
- Mentoring and supervising apprentices, and delegating tasks to keep the team efficient
- Reading and working from architectural and engineering plans (digitally, on-site)
- Keeping clients updated and maintaining robust relationships when they're on site
- Reporting regularly to the directors and using initiative to solve problems before they land on their desk

About you





- Completion of a Carpentry Trade Certificate III minimum
- Completion of Cert IV ideal
- Current driver's licence and White Card
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Proven experience managing people and running residential building sites
- Solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements and site safety practices
- Comfortable reading plans and using tablets/smart devices on site
- A leader who can work autonomously, take ownership, and bring energy to a growing team
