Experienced Underground Coal Operators | Bowen Basin, Queensland
One Workforce is seeking experienced Underground Coal Operators to join our growing Queensland Operations team as Underground Application Specialists.
Join a team delivering specialist underground services across Queensland coal operations while developing expertise in polymeric technologies, underground application systems and emerging mining solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Polymeric chemical applications.
- Ground consolidation, grout applications, void and cavity filling.
- Underground ventilation installation and support.
- Longwall roof fall recovery operations.
- Introduction and application of emerging underground mining technologies.
- Pumpable crib standing roof supports, Back fills (PDRR’s and Stubs).
- Surface-to-seam pumping operations.
We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in polymeric chemical applications (highly regarded).
- Demonstrated underground coal mining experience.
- Current Queensland Coal Board Medical.
- Current Standard 11 Surface and Underground.
- Robust commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Relevant underground operating competencies including Hand Held Bolter, Mounted Bolter, LHD and Man Transporter (desirable).
- Current Queensland mine site inductions (desirable).

Roster & Travel
7/7 rotating day and night roster (project dependent).
Camp accommodation provided whilst on roster.
Applicants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the nominated mine site or camp at the commencement and completion of each swing.
Projects are completed across multiple client sites throughout Queensland (and nationally), providing variety, ongoing development and exposure to a wide range of underground mining environments.
